Bluestone had been tasked with designing the C+EN annual advertising and media kits for years. The kits consisted of custom die cuts, circular pocket folders with assorted inserts. In order to feature actual ACS member scientists and use their testimonials within the kits, the Bluestone staff photographer was tasked with a series of custom photo shoots of the various individuals. These members were also scattered geographically, so our photographer staged the shoots in numerous locations across the U.S. Over the years, Bluestone has staged many location-based photoshoots, some at a moment’s notice.
