Emerald Cities Collaborative

Rings Leighton was tasked to illustration and design ECC’s infographic poster, Pathways from a Low-Road, Extractive Economy to a High-Road—Sustainable and Just—Economy. It is a visual depiction of their “high-road vision of achieving a green, sustainable and just economy in equitable and democratically-accountable ways. This resource shows the relationship of that vision to ECC’s three main areas of endeavor: Environment, Economy and Equity. The poster incorporates graphic images, facts and figures to illustrate, in concrete terms, components of the environment, economy and equity low roads and the corresponding high roads. Moving through inclusive community-based coalitions, the high roads become an integrated highway leading to the ‘Emerald City.’”
